About Me
I was born and raised in Singapore, a cosmopolitan city-state in the heart of Southeast Asia, then educated at international high schools in Basel, Switzerland and Shanghai, China. My path around the world finally brought me to Stanford University, where the winds of freedom blow. I'm currently a Doctoral student in the Instructional Technology & Media program at Teachers College, Columbia University. I recently graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with interdisciplinary honors in Education, and a M.A. in Learning, Design & Technology (LDT) at Stanford's Graduate School of Education.
My passion lies in the intersection of design & engineering, global humanitarian challenges and social development. When I am not welding in the foundry or brainstorming a debate simulation of the refugee crisis, you could find me in the music department rehearsing with my beloved a cappella group or experimenting with a new recipe for my friend's birthday. |
