Brazil EdTech Design Challenge

This was an inaugural partnership between Columbia Entrepreneurship, Lemann Foundation (Fundação Lemann, Brazil) and Columbia School of International & Public Affairs (SIPA). I was one of 24 selected Columbia students for this edtech design challenge.
Comprised of 4 Columbia students (Teachers College and School of Engineering) and 2 Brazilian entrepreneurs, my diverse team named SCADAS conducted field research in São Paulo and Paraíba to understand teachers' and students' needs in the area of special education. We designed a platform that aims to improve communication between public school teachers, disability specialists and pedagogical coordinators. |
